Gee, but it's great to be back home...

We are home!!!!

After about 40 hours of traveling we have finally arrived back where we started...

HOME!

Although it's great to be here, it is hard to wrap our minds around "all this".

For almost 2 weeks, home felt so different then what we are used to...

the extremes between the two cultures would make you think that we are grateful to leave that all behind

 in exchange for all the modern conveniences we have here and yet I miss it all.

I miss our India family, and yet I am here with Big Bob and my gals...

I miss the excitement that filled each day, and yet the peacefulness surrounding me is refreshing...

I miss the orphans, and yet look forward to seeing our loved ones here...

I miss the beautiful clothing that is warn in the extreme heat, and yet I'm so happy to be sitting here in my footie pajamas, hearing the crackling of the fire that is warming up our house in this freezing cold weather...

I miss the simplisity of life there, yet am happy our pizza will be delivered to us shortly...

If home truly is where the heart is, well then I guess I must say I have two of them!

Life is Good!

I know we are truly blessed to have had this opportunity to travel back to India and believe me

I do not take it for granted...I also know that many will never have a chance to do something like this and therefore I hope this blog has been a means for you to vicariously travel with us.

As I mentioned earlier, the rest of my family will be making additional posts to elaborate on different parts of the trip so I encourage you to continue to check it out.
