Coming to America...

We are very excited as our missionaries from India are coming for a visit!!  At the beginning of this year a plea was put out to our congregation asking for donations to fund a trip for Novahu and Manjula, the missionaries who run Joyful Journeys in India, so that they could come here for a visit. Through the sheer generosity of our church family, not only was enough money raised for them to come, but also enough that they could bring their 2 daughters!!  :)  Novahu and Manjula were here back in 2010; however this will be the girls first time in America.  It's hard to even imagine what will go through their heads as they see what life is like here.  So many things that we simply take for granted as well as things that are just part of our culture, such as houses for our vehicles, machines to wash our clothes, plenty of clean drinking water, fast food restaurants, pets, Wal-Mart, the list goes on and on!  Please join us in welcoming them as they come to talk about the different ministries supported by Joyful Journeys, and also talk about what life is like in India.

Novahu, Manjula, Karishma, and Shekinah

p.s. This next part is very difficult to post, as it is out of our nature to do so; however we have had many requests from our blog followers wondering how they can help support our families journey back to India later this year.  On that note, we've added a donate button to our blog if you wish to contribute.  We are so incredibly grateful for all the love and support of our friends and family as we prepare to return to India and we appreciate your desire to help assist us on that endeavor.  Thank you for your kindness!
